Dave Sitek occupies a role as a songwriter, a producer, multi-instrumentalist and as key band member. He has stewarded the careers of artists from Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jane’s Addiction, Beyoncé and JAY-Z.

Sitek is a key figure in the post punk Brooklyn band TV On The Radio. The band were an amalgamation of several musical forces, releasing the Young Liars EP in 2003. They toured heavily in support of the band’s releases and are very acclaimed sonic experimenters.  They released 4 key albums worth of super ambitious material dealing head on with politics and morality.

Geiger’s contribution to the career of Shawn Mendes has been sizeable. Stiches featured on Mendes’s 2015 album Essential. The track was initially a pre-order exclusive track but took on a life of its own, gave Mendes his first Top 10 single on the Billboard 100 and now has been streamed in excess of 1 billion times on Spotify alone.

Further billion streaming songs were then achieved on the songs Geiger created for the follow up album Illuminate, in 2017. The lead single from this album was Treat You Better, which gave Mendes another US Top ten single, followed by There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back and Mercy.

For Mendes’s third self-titled album in 2018, Geiger contributed the songs In My Blood, the lead single into the album and a track that was nominated for Song Of The Year at the Grammys. The other track was Lost In Japan, and both tracks have now accumulated over half a billion streams.
